Ramsheh Petrochemical, which has been registered in the name of “Petro-Ramsheh Co.” in Iran, is expected to be put into operation under the license of INEOS Technologies in the year 2009 to produce Expandable PolyStyrene (EPS) with the capacity of 50,000 MTA in phase 1 of the project.
EPS production of this company is planned to be produced in two types: Regular EPS which is mostly consumed in “packaging foam” production, and Flame Retardant EPS which is consumed in insulating sheets and foam (insulation) ceiling blocks.
The project site is situated in Ramsheh industrial zone which is located at 150^th km southeastern side of Isfahan.
Raw materials for this complex which were approved and confirmed by National Iranian Petrochemical Company will be supplied by Pars Petrochemical Co. in Asalooyeh, Iran.
It is expected that products by this company benefit from good advantages for export purposes.
